About Pine Products

Pine Products Inc. is a family owned business which started in 1991 as an animal bedding company by recycling wood scraps into sawdust and wood shavings. We have two locations where animal bedding and wood shavings are produced. One site, which is our headquarters, is located in Waconia, MN and the other site is located in Bemidji, MN.

Pine Products offers many different types of animal bedding and wood shavings serving the equine, dairy, hog, poultry, pet and other industries.

Over the years, we have expanded our markets and products to meet the needs of our customers:

• In the mid 1990's we continued to expand into landscape products by adding wood mulches, landscape rocks, boulders, sand and dirt to our inventories. We still serve both wholesale and retail markets with these products.
• 2001 – Pine Products Inc added a compression bagger to bag wood shavings.
• 2007 – Pine Products expanded by opening another production facility in Bemidji, MN. Wood Shavings, animal bedding, bagged wood shavings and landscape mulches are processed at the Bemidji, MN site (wholesale only).
